Support Self-Managed Abortion

We’ve made a lot of progress in making at-home abortion available in the U.S. - but we still need your help. Not everyone knows about abortion pills or how they can be accessed online.

You can help us spread the word and bring online abortion pill access to the mainstream.

The Political background

Safe But Still Restricted...

Despite decades of evidence that abortion pills are safe and effective for home and self-use, they remain under heavy restrictions by the FDA. We've been calling attention to this injustice for years and finally, due to COVID-19, we've seen a temporary lift of these restrictions. A more permanent solution is still necessary.

Truth is, lack of abortion access disproportionately impacts already marginalized and at-risk communities, while people of privilege will continue find the abortion access they need. Abortion has become a political tool, leveraged in culture wars and political games. But thanks to these 5 little pills, we have the power to change this.

You can start by watching the animation below. Then decide how to take action to help spread the word on abortion pills.

Here’s what you can do:

Sign a Petition

Add your name below to tell the FDA: Let us get the abortion pill where we take the abortion pill — at home!

Learn How to Dialogue

Dialoging with friends, family, and colleagues about abortion can sometimes feel challenging. These resources can support you in dialogue with people whose views differ from yours and with people who are coming to you for information and support.

Expose Fake Clinics

From AAF:

There are close to 3,000 fake women's health centers across the country (vs. only around 800 actual abortion providers).

Sometimes called pregnancy resource centers or crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs), fake clinics do NOT provide comprehensive reproductive health care—instead, they use phony ads to trick pregnant people into making an appointment, promising “free ultrasounds” or “pregnancy support.” Once inside, people are lied to, shamed, and pressured about their reproductive health decisions, often delaying their procedure unnecessarily. More and more, these predatory places are funded by taxpayer dollars, and impact poor women and people of color the hardest.

You can help, right now, by taking action and correcting misinformation on review sites and spreading the word.
